Remos Armaos
Biography
Dr. Remos Armaos is a full-time member of the Editorial Committee of the peer review journal, member of ISAJE and Scopus Group, Exartiseis (www.exartsiseis.gr). He has completed his doctoral thesis at University of Manchester, UK in year 2001 on ICT and Research in education. Since 2002, Remos Armaos is the Head of KETHEA’s Staff Education Department and an expert in research design and programme evaluation. He also teaches research methodology and professional ethics within the MSc Course on Criminal Law and Addictions, run jointly by KETHE, School of Law, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Department of Law, University of Nicosia, Cyprus. His prior experience focuses in research and academia and includes his work as Research Analyst in the Corporate Development Branch in Greater Manchester Police, UK, his position as a Research Fellow-national evaluator within a multidisciplinary project at the University of Sheffield, UK, community profiling, project management and cost-effectiveness analysis. In addition, he is a national and European-level (EACEA) expert evaluator on lifelong learning and ERASMUS+ projects while he has several publications in peer reviewed journals, book reviews and other conference presentations in addictions field. Currently he runs a course at the Hellenic Open University on Adult Education and a course on Research Methodology for the American College of Greece. |
